Leica Digital-Modul-R Firmware Version 1.2 Released
Leica today announced a firmware update (version 1.2) for their Leica Digital-Modul-R back for the R8 and R9 SLRs. The new software update improves image reproduction on the display and color reproduction in the images, enhances compatibility for 4GB SD cards and adds compatibility for the MAC OS version 10.3. The new software update, optimizes the following:
* Improves image reproduction on the display
* Improves color reproduction in the images
* Compatibility for 4GB SD cards
* Compatibility for MAC OS version 10.3

* Bug for saving of settings eliminated (ISO Push)
* Optimizing of internal data processing

Note: Due to the compatibility the data format on the SD cards has been changed. Therefore the SD card has be to formated after update.
